Its My Life (and Yours)

A cragy old sooth-sayer once said, "You can't buy happiness!" I am sure that is true,
but it might be easier to find if you look in the right places.
Its My Life_ So Give it Back is a caring, readable and humorous life book especially for yoiung people and others whose life is in the doldrums.
Parents, teachers, counsellors and other trusted mentors might also find it useful.

The author draws upon experience, good and bad, to offer thought provoking chapters on those
things that make a might make a reader a happier participant in a world full of pot-holes and
unexpected curves in the path.

Understand the word doldrums; it was those windless days when sailors on sails ships waited, painfully, for a new wind to continue their long journeys. The important thing to remember wa that a new wind would blow, sooner or later, and great cheerfulness would brak out like a 21st or a 50th Birthday Party. Faith can be like that, if it is focussed upon the power of God.

Not much consolation for the person who has suffered severe economic and personal loss as a result of the doldrums. But there the
lesson gets much deeper when people are forced to focus upon deep questions about their identity and the soul that travels with them. I will rely on the best advice when I attempt to adress that. Until then, there is a way in which the end can be a gentle calm over the middle; like the folk who survived the holocaust and ask, not why me?, but why not me?

The writing is focussed upon a world in which we live and the need for a new wind in the lives of family, friends and those for whom we would do something if we could.
